KiHS Communities are spread across Northern Ontario. The languages spoken within the Communities are Ojibwe, Oji-Cree, and Cree. Each Community is distinct in culture, language dialect, and traditions. KiHS honors the uniqueness of each Community; teachers are expected to develop an understanding of the particular context they are teaching in. As part of online instruction, Teachers are mandated and encouraged to use local content and language. Hover over pictures to see captions.
